很久未聽過如此既輕快又心動的 Indie-pop，來自美國新墨西哥州的四人樂隊The Shins可以說是Indie音樂領域中最成功的樂隊之一，不但在全世界擁有大批歌迷，2003年還被"Rolling Stones"評選為年度最佳樂隊。唱片銷量甚至超過許多主流樂隊，也算是個不大不小的奇跡了。雖然他們來自美國，音樂風格卻帶有些英倫氣息，低調另類。

閃靈樂團-塞德克巴萊 (2003)

這是閃靈遠赴丹麥錄製的專輯，並力邀「哥德公主」陳珊妮獻聲演唱。閃靈把「霧社事件」─原住民領袖莫那魯道力抗日本軍隊的故事、結合原住民族的古老傳說，改編成悽美壯絕的重金屬交響詩，鎔鑄成這張波瀾壯闊的概念專輯，是台灣絕無僅有的「交響黑金屬」風格。

還記得他們在1996年的Tigermilk嗎?Tigermilk幾乎成了indie-pop國歌了，這是B&S去年出版的第6張專輯，專輯有很七十年代的音樂質感，如沐春風的情懷，超喜歡another sunny day。
